Here you will find details of funded PhD opportunities. Funded places are competitive and we only have a few funded places per year. Funded candidates are normally required to study Full-time and study on campus.
We are currently offering a funded PhD, jointly funded by QMU, the University of Edinburgh and the Scottish Graduate School for Arts and Humanities (SGSAH). Full details are provided on the Funded PhD with SGSAH ARCS page.
Details for our 2027 PhD Bursary competition will be advertised here in January 2027. Successful applicants will commence in September 2027.
The Bursary competition usually invites applications for specific topics.
